What is the difference between my 2008 Giving Record and Online Giving History?
Your 2008 Giving Record is an official charitable giving record for all donations (mail-in and online) made to Feeding America from Jan. 1, 2008 through Dec. 31, 2008. Your Online Giving History shows your most recent and year-to-date giving to Feeding America for online donations only.

Why is there a problem with my 2008 Giving Record and /or Online Giving History?
Here is are a few reasons why a gift might not be listed:

1) You donated directly to a local food bank.
The 2008 Giving record and Online Giving History only list donations given directly to Feeding America (formerly named America's Second Harvest). If you gave to one of our network food bank members, through a third-party website, or through a donor-advised fund, these organizations must provide you with your tax receipt because you technically made your gift to them. Please double-check your records and contact the partner to whom your gift was sent.

2) You have multiple accounts.
Perhaps you've given gifts to Feeding America under different names or email addresses. Maybe someone else in your household gave a gift, too. There are a couple ways you can end up with multiple accounts. If you think this may have happened to you, call 1-800-771-2303 and we'll be happy to merge your giving records.

3) You gave a 2009 gift in the mail.
Any donations that have been mailed to Feeding America will not be displayed in the Community Center. Please Note: The official Feeding America 2009 Giving Record will be available in the Community Center for all registered donors in January 2010. To register now, click here
